Presenting Enrapture World in ROBLOX

We are proud to present Enrapture World – a stunning game and virtual map environment within the immersive world of ROBLOX. With a considerable portion of ROBLOX users falling under the age of 12, our team has crafted a meticulously designed land that caters to this young audience, while also keeping in mind the interests of older youth. Its visual aesthetics of the land were carefully curated with the goal of creating a sense of enchantment and wonder for all who visit.

According to ROBLOX Investor Day presentation, 54.86% of ROBLOX daily active users were under 13 years old as of 2020. That’s largely unchanged from previous years, with 59.3% and 57.76% for 2019 and 2018 respectively. 

Enrapture World is geared towards Gen Alpha and the tail end of Gen Z. Since the pandemic, much has been made of the children’s mental health; so much so that Doctors are actually prescribing more playtimes for stressed and worried children, of millennial parents. Gen Alpha have 12 hours less playtime than their millennial parents had. Looking at the The American Academy of Paediatrics report in 2018 titled The Power of Play. It States, “Play is not frivolous: it enhances brain structure and function and promotes executive function”. They went on to recommend that doctors prescribe “play every day” to all their young patients”.

That is why we have created a space where our users can walk the red carpet, soak in the pool, and bask in the spotlight of a sea of paparazzi.

We have an Enrapture World merch shop, reliant on our virtual coin system which is gained through game experience points. 

With five dynamic mini-games, we immerse players in a world of wonder and excitement, where they become an integral part of the game’s captivating story. Our mini-games are the perfect blend of fun, magic, and function.

At the heart of Enrapture World is a captivating story, which binds all elements of our land together. In much the same way that a company’s ethics and morals define its identity, our story is the cornerstone of our corporate identity. Our virtual world may entice the young with its stunning graphics and enchanting sounds, but our true identity as a company may not always be immediately apparent. That’s why we take great care to ensure that our story reflects the values and vision of our organization. Music is core at Enrapture as it enhances moods, creativity and it can aid concentration. Therefore, we have created a music land that harnesses the power of social audio. At the heart of this project lies our everyone’s love for music, especially children. There we introduce singers and musicians to give a concert 4 times a day. Our specially designed animations and lighting effects are sure to transport our users to a world of music and magic, where they can channel their inner rockstar and jump on stage.  But our music land is more than just a concert venue – it is a true haven of creativity and inspiration. Our team understands the transformative power of music, and how it can influence moods, enhance concentration and 

Our story is based on all myths, legends, and folklore, but most importantly, it is nature-based, because as George Monbiot says using national trust information “ today’s children are enclosed in school and home, enclosed in cars to and from school. Since the 1970s the area in which children roam without adults has decreased by almost 90 percent.” 

It is vital for GenZ and Gen Alpha to stay always more committed to the environment, sustainability, and nature. Thus, by giving life to the rocks, the trees, and the waters of Enrapture World, we aim to personify nature and generate a renewed appreciation and respect for its overwhelming beauty. Thus, allowing them to feel the bonds to Enrapture World’s mission.

Great attention has been paid to the intricate details of our story and the enchanting landscape it is set within. Within its walls stands a formidable fortress, a haven for the pursuit of magic training, team collaboration, and building strong bonds. Our system operates on a hierarchical framework of feats, achieved through the successful completion of challenging tasks. In keeping with our magical theme, we have eschewed conventional weapons such as swords or guns, instead, emphasizing the acquisition of magical powers. We ensure that no harm comes from magic; it can only stun and distract, never destroy.

As a delightful addition to our magical realm, we offer our players the chance to raise and nurture their very own magical pets. Through the care and nurturing of these magical companions, our players can gain further mastery of magic. They may also engage in the trading of pets, some of which possess rare and unique abilities, with the possibility of increasing powers following gains in experience points. The Fort stands as the epicenter of magical power, the source from which all magic flows. It is here that we deliver updates and engage with our players. This world of enchantment is not only great fun, but we also recognize its potential to provide a much-needed outlet for leisure time and contribute positively to the mental health of Gen Alpha, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the Covid19 pandemic.

Flux trends stress how “now, doctors are warning that the decline in playtime is having a devastating effect on the health, mental wellness, socialization and even the cognitive ability of children. Countries where children are given more, free playtime while young, see more academic success as those children get older. So much so, they are now prescribing playtime to overworked, stressed small children, the same way they would prescribe a Panado for a fever”.

The idea of play is what encouraged us to take Enrapture to Roblox, but it raised more questions about the safety of the young online, should the land ‘boot’ them after an allotted screen time suitable to the age group? And how are we verifying ages? Is the mixing of age groups a good thing or is it safer to only limit interactions between children of similar ages? These are the points that Enrapture has to consider in addictive environments, our baseline for Enrapture World in Roblox is the youngest age group. These questions we have had to ask in each of the various worlds Enrapture inhabits, and they have each been able to teach us something about how we run our own business. 

Enrapture using Roblox and its average of very young users helped us clarify our thinking on building worlds aimed specifically at the young and incorporating our values ethically and morally. This is a knowledge we can share with our clients.
